2/22/2010 - The hunt is on, Willy Wonka style, for Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival tickets.

There’s still time to get your “golden” tickets to the 3rd Annual Bacon Festival!

The Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival tickets sold out in 24 minutes, but to the bacon fanatics out there who were unable to purchase tickets, there is still hope. One package of Artisan Bacon, containing a voucher for two tickets, will be on a Dahls shelf, while another package of Artisan Bacon, containing a voucher for two tickets, will be on a Hy-Vee shelf in the Greater Des Moines area.

The prize-filled packages will be available on the shelves for purchase starting Monday, February 22nd to kick off “Bacon Week” of the 3rd Annual Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival. Employees of either chain are not eligible to claim the tickets. Vouchers will need to be claimed by 5:00pm on Friday, February 26th. More details are present on the vouchers.

The fun will continue the day of the event, while attendees are enjoying a thick-meaty delicious piece of our Artisan Bacon, we will recite our rendition of Beauty and the Beast, re-titled Beauty and the Bacon Grease. It should be a blast and we hope to meet lots of bottomless bacon lovers.

The Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival is being held at the Scottish Rite Consistory downtown Des Moines, Iowa on February 27th.
